For those of you who know me, you know that I love a nude lipstick and I love nothing more than buying new nude lipsticks to join my collection. So when I heard that Revlon had released four new lip butters, I paid Boots a visit and bought all four. I've had these sitting in my acrylic lipstick holder staring at me for months as I did buy them when they had literally just been released! It wasn't until I was tanned up that I was feeling brave enough to bold a bright lip and in particular, Sorbet.
Sorbet is one of shades that the camera doesn't pick up as to how vibrant it truly is. In the bullet, it's a bright pink but when applied, it looks almost purple especially on me. I find that this only requires a few applications to get the full effect which is the same for all of Revlon Lip Butter's bright/bold shades. This lasts for roughly three hours or so as once the glossy finish has disappeared, my lips are well and truly stained with the colour. I absolutely love this colour but I personally think that it would always look better with a tan so I'm definitely this shade on holiday with me!

The Collection 2000 Cream Puffs have been on my radar ever since I first started blogging however it wasn't until I had some leftover birthday money two weeks ago that I finally bought one in the shade Powder Puff. Although I've been lusting after it for ages, I'm rather disappointed with it. It applies very sheerly and it can be built up however after two or three applications, it turns into a more orange toned brown than a nudeish shade which I wasn't expecting at all. It does feel moisturising on the lips however and it does dry to a matte finish which is what it claims to do just overall, it's not a product that has impressed. The only good thing about this that I do like is the scent which smells exactly like toffee!

For almost a year, I had been religiously using the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Gentle Exfoliating Wash which I've repurchased over and over again. It wasn't until at the start last month that I noticed that it wasn't having the same effect on my skin like it used to do which is a shame as I really enjoyed using it both morning and night. I then remember a conversation I had with Jessie at the #NottsBBMeet which then made me go out and buy the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Spot Stress Control Daily Scrub (NVCSSCDS).
I like my facial products to either smell or to not have a scent at all and with this, I really dislike the scent of it! It smells rather faintly of cucumbers with a scientific mix. I've previously tried the 3-in-1 Cleansing Lotion from the same range which also smells exactly like this. For the record, I do not have sensitive skin at all but with the NVCSSCDS I have to be extremely gentle with it especially on my nose as I find that it can make my eyes water amongst other things.
Scent aside, I find that this is no where near as gritty as my previous exfoliator as it's more of a cream rather than a liquid which takes a while to get used to. Although it isn't as gritty as I would like it to be, it does do a good job at buffing away any dead skin I have on my face as well as helping with blemishes. I haven't had any major ones for almost three weeks now which is a record! Although I'm not entirely sold on this, due to the scent, I will continue using it before I have to make the dreaded decision of repurchasing it or not.

One of the first ever Topshop lipsticks that I've bought which I've had my eye on for ages is Saint. Saint caught my eye as being the perfect 'nude milky pink' yet is described as a pale pink on the website which it definitely isn't! It applies very sheerly but can be built up and I find that three of four applications builds it up to be the perfect milky nude. I like the fact that it doesn't cling to any dry patches and leaves a healthy sheen which lasts for a few hours maximum which is probably down to it being so creamy to apply. This is by far one of my favourite nude lipsticks I own and that is quite a bold statement as I own quite a fair few to say the least.
