Superdrug Haul 007

Superdrug is one of those stores that I rarely go into unless it's something that I cannot get in Boots. I'm forever receiving their emails but their offers never seem to entice me until very recently when there were a few offers that I simply couldn't resist which is down to Superdrug celebrating their 5 Years of their Health & Beauty Card.

Long term readers will know that the Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser is one of the most talked about cleansers on my blog so it seemed only right to pick up two more especially when they were on offer. It's rich in natural Vitamin E and high in antioxidants and helps to defend skin against environmental damage. It's also one of the most creamiest cleansers I've come across that truly helps with dry skin. In addition to picking up those, I couldn't resist picking up two of the Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser. This is essentially a more radiant version of the Vitamin E except with a different scent altogether. It contains many brightening ingredients to help awaken your skins natural glow whilst being very nourishing on the skin too.

I've recently been getting into wearing fake lashes on a daily basis as I just love how they make my eyes look especially with a smokey eye. I'm very late on the band wagon to using the Ardell Demi Wispies but I've definitely made up for lost time as I picked up a multi pack which contains four pairs that can be reused multiple times. I actually got a killer discount on this which worked out to be the same price as two individual pairs by themselves. Luckily, I've got quite a few teeny tiny Duo Lash Glue samples as this multi pack doesn't come with any glue.

The main reason why I ordered from Superdrug is after seeing that they've recently brought out a Hyaluronic Acid Facial Spritz which everyone and their cat knows that Hyaluronic Acid can hold up to a thousand times its weight in water to help keep skin moisturised for longer. Considering that it was on a buy one get one free offer, it seemed rude to not pick up two. I cannot wait to start spritzing this when I do my skincare and who knows, it might even be a dupe for Hydraluron! 

Boots Haul 021

As mentioned in my March Favourites, I've been trying to save money instead of spending as I simply do not need another shimmery taupe eyeshadow when I have five very similar shades already in my stash. However there are times when I'm weak and cannot resist with today being an exception. I think I was relatively calm on the spending front if I'm honest although I technically didn't need it all, I wanted it instead ;)

Considering that today was the day that No7 brought out their contouring palettes, it seemed only fair that I bought both shades; Light/Medium and Medium/Dark. I've only really played about with these both in store and at home so I haven't had the chance to put them to the test properly so I will have a review of both coming up in the next few days. Speaking of contouring, I couldn't resist picking up the Sleek Cream Contour Kit in Light after seeing quite a few YouTubers using it in their videos. I'm hoping that this will take my contouring to the next level and completely change the way that I contour altogether. Fingers crossed!

As all of No7 was on a three-for-two deal, it seemed only fair that I picked up my trusty No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter to have in back up. This is a beautiful candlelit champagne colour that gives that radiant lit from within glow that looks very natural on the skin but can be built up to get more of a strobed effect. I use this every time I apply makeup so I simply cannot live without it!

I've had my eyes on the Le Couvent des Minimes range ever since they launched in Boots but I've never wanted to buy any of the products due to how expensive they were. On a recent visit to my local store, I noticed that majority of the range was reduced in price which is because I'm assuming they'll be getting rid of it altogether so it seemed only fair I picked up the pieces that I've had my eyes on for quite a while! The Gardener's Hand Healer Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser is something that I've wanted to try out for ages as it's very similar to my beloved Sanctuary Radiance Exfoliator except for the hands! I also had to get the matching Ultra Cleansing Foam to use alongside it for days when my hands are feeling really dry. Lastly, I got the Hiker's Foot Healer which I'm hoping will help with my dry feet as it seems that anything I apply doesn't help even the slightest.

Boots Haul 021

I will admit that I much prefer doing my sales shopping online in the comfort of my own home rather than braving the cold and pushy crowds to get only a few things that I had to fight for. This year however, I decided to go to my local Boots for their 70% off sale which I must admit is rather frightening just before the store opens as the amount of people giving you the dagger eye is unreal! With that being said, I did get rather lucky and got quite a lot!

I've been wanting a delicate jewlellery stand for my bedside table for quite a while now and this beautiful ceramic heart shaped, two-tier stand fits the job perfectly! I'll be keeping all my daily rings on top whilst my bracelets and watches will be on the bottom and for only £3.60, you can't go wrong! I'd been eyeing up the Bell Jar for quite a while and when I saw one left, I knew it was meant to be however after getting it home, I'm not entirely sure what to do with it! This was also £3.60 so not bank breaking - any suggestions on what to put in it would be greatly appreciated!

Last year, I bought the horizontal three drawer heart unit which has been storing lip balms ever since and I absolutely love it. So when I saw the vertical version, I knew that I had to get it to complete the set! I don't actually have any use for it yet but for £4.80, you can't really complain. As I'm currently in the buying everything for when I move out phase, I thought it would be rude not to buy the two star candles especially when they were only £1.80 each and they'll make nice tea light holders once I've completely burnt up the candles. I've been debating whether or not to get the Soap & Glory She Bang Set for ages as I bought one as a christmas present for a family member so when I saw that they were only £18 I just had to get one especially as they were going fast!

I couldn't resist in picking up four silver tea light holders for only £1.20 each and if I decide not to have tea lights in them, my cacti fit perfectly in them too! It might seem a bit excessive in buying a trinket tray when I bought the jewellery stand however I think I might use the tray tray for candles as shown above if not, then it wont break the bank as it was only £3! Lastly I bought a cheeky candle which I won't ever burn as the lid is too beautiful for £3 also!

Feel Unique Haul 001

Out of all the online sites for buying makeup, Feel Unique are one of my favourite ones to buy from purely because they're forever having some sort of offer going on. I don't always place an order though as I prefer to window shop rather than buying everything I have my eye on. With that being said, I did place a cheeky order just after boxing day which was sparked by this particular post by A Girl And A Beauty Blog who flagged up one of the products on my wishlist had some money off so naturally, I couldn't resist!

I've been wanting the TheBalm The Manizer Sisters Palette for the longest time ever, probably since it's initial release back in October but I'd just never got round to purchasing it.  It contains three shades - Mary-Lou Manizer which is a beautiful yellow champagne shade that looks stunning on the tops of the cheekbones; Cindy-Lou Manizer that is a pink toned shade that you can use for blush/eyeshadow and contouring and lasting Betty-Lou Manizer that is ideal for bronzing yourself up with. After seeing it at the bargain price of £21.60 which works out to be £7.20 per shade, it's one of the better bargains I've bought so far!

As I'm running low on my Dr Bronner's Magic Soap and won't be popping into a T K Maxx anytime soon, I picked up a new one in the almond scent which is my favourite scent to date. This helps to keep my makeup brushes clean whilst making them smell good too. Lastly, I bought the Redken All Soft Supple Touch which is a softening cream-spray for very dry/brittle to help improve the condition of the hair whilst making it more manageable in the process.

Lanzarote Haul

When on holiday, you have to take full advantage of the exchange rate and offers and do a little shopping which naturally I had to do! Where we were staying, there were a few Fund Grube stores which is essentially like Debenhams just not as big. At the time, they had slashed the prices over 1,500 beauty products which meant some serious savings were there to be had!

I took full advantage of this and decided that now would be he best time to get the Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 which is specifically for dry combination skin. I've been reading a lot about their clarifying lotions and how they can either work wonders for your skin and wreck havoc. I personally don't take reviews for face value as everybodys skin is different so what may work for one person, may not necessarily work for the either so with that in mind, I'm keen to try it for myself. It's essentially an exfoliating toner that helps to remove dead skin to reveal brighter, more radiant skin. I'm really hoping that this works well for me as I do have high hopes for it. Next up is the Melvita Damask Rose Floral Water that has been on my wishlist for the longest time ever! This is a hydrating toner that you can either spritz directly on the skin or onto a cotton pad before sweeping it over the face. It's distilled from Damask Rose petals and is a astringent which will give you that tight feeling after applying without irritating the skin.

Anybody who has stepped foot in a department store will understand how pushy sales assistants are and the sales assistants in Fund Grubbe were no different, especially when it comes to making you buy fragrance! They were having some sort of special promotion on a new his and her fragrance which of course we had to smell and then somehow ended up buying. Its called Voulezvous Pour Femme by Chhabria which I believe has been exclusively for Fund Grubbe. The scent itself is rather hard to explain as I cannot find any information on it however it smells good and is one that lingers on the skin hours after spritzing.

I couldn't resist buying some makeup so I bought two eyeshadows from Collistar. The first being Kartell X Collistar Silk Effect Eyeshadow Trio in 70 Nudo Jelly which has a champagne colour, shimmer packed copper gold and a shimmer dark brown that looks beautiful together. The other being a Double Effect Eye Shadow that you can use both wet and dry in the shade 4 Beige Rosato which is a very shimmery gold bronze shade where the shimmer literally gets everywhere! Lastly, there was a promotion on at the till where you could get four travel sized face + body lotions for €5 which of course were too cute to pass up! They're made in the Canary Islands and all contain extracts of aloe vera.. The blue one is aloe vera, the pink one is aloe vera with moscheta rose oil, the green one is olive oil and the orange one is aloe vera with karite butter

Boots Haul 020

I'm sure we all have one of those shops where we could just spend a fortune in and surprisingly, that store for me is Boots. Boots is just one of those places where they have a good mixture of highend and drugstore with many bargains like the infamous 3 for 2 which all the beauty bloggers sure take advantage of! Which just so happens to be the main cause of this haul, I fell into Boots only needing a few repurchases and I ended up coming out with a lot more. 

The main repurchase for me is the Estee Lauder Light Black Primer which I use after curling my lashes to act as a primer. I a do a few coats before going in with my normal mascara to make my lashes appear longer and fuller. It's completely unnecessary but I like to think it does something for my short lashes. The next repurchase is of course naturally the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge which is my go to for applying foundation. I tend to stick to one sponge for two days worth of foundation hence why I end up with atleast three on the go. With one sponge lasting two months or so before throwing it out, I always like to have a few in backup to keep going between the 3 for 2 deals.

There's no denying that I love my highlighters so I picked up the Collection Speedy Highlighter which is pretty much identical to my beloved No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter just slightly darker in colour. I also picked up the Collection Contour Kit Highlight & Scuplt which on first glances, the highlighter looks to be packed with glitter which gladly doesn't translate on the skin. It's instead a beautiful champagne colour with the perfect bronzer for pale skinned beauties. I also picked up the Collection #BlushAndGlow which has the bronzer and highligher already in there with two shades of blush which in hindsight is rather pointless however it's ideal for travelling.

I couldn't resist picking up the Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Palette as the colours inside are right up my street! I also decided to get the Soap & Glory Supercat Liner as everyone and their nan raves about it and I wanted a change from my normal liquid liner. One product that I haven't had in what feels like forever is the Collection Lasting Perfect Concealer which is essentially like the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer but a fraction of the price. After seeing a friend rocking the Revlon Nail Varnish in Ace Of Spades, I too had to get on that bandwagon and I'm certainly not disappointed! It's a beautiful light black/dark grey that only takes one coat to be completely opaque. Lastly, I had to buy the Philips Tongue Cleaner purely because it was practically half price due to their price matching which I'll be popping up a review of in the next few weeks or so.

Superdrug Haul 006

Superdrug is one of those stores that I don't really go into much, purely because the staff in there aren't very helpful. The last time I went into one of their stores was back in May which feels like forever ago and even then I didn't buy a great deal. After seeing quite a few people hauling their own branded products, I decided that I better pop into my local one to see what products they had.
Before I even tried Liz Earle Cleanse + Polish, I was a loyal follower of the Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser so of course I had to pick up two more! This is by far one of the better hot cloth cleansers I've tried as not only is the consistency very creamy and very luxurious but I actually feel like it works wonders for my dry/very dry skin. I also picked up their Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser which again, I have tried previously. This is a brightening version of the Vitamin E one just slightly smaller in size with a much different scent. I much prefer the Vitamin E one however this version is better suited for days when my skin is looking a little dull.

I've seen quite a few people raving about the Vitamin E Dual Phase Cleansing Oil recently so of course I had to pick one up. It's one of those products that you have to shake it up to combine the two layers to then use to cleanse the skin. You can use it to both remove makeup and to clease the skin however I think I'll give both a go before I decide which way is better suited for my skin. Lastly, I picked up the Gilette Venus Snap Razor as it's been on my radar for quite a while and it's perfect for when I'm travelling both abroad and around the country. It's basically a smaller version of the a normal size which still takes normal razor blades. 

T K Maxx Haul 002

Hands up who agrees that T K Maxx can be very hit and miss especially when it comes down to their beauty products? I honestly don't know how people can come away with many big branded goods when my local store fails to keep even the cheapest of items tamper proof. I believe that all the good stuff stays up north whilst we get all the ruddy stuff down south! Now with that being said, I did find a few goodies on my most recept trip there which just so happened to be up north in Nottingham.

I've been lusting after GlamGlow for ages and despite owning a sample of it, it just hasn't satisfied my cravings so when I found the GlamGlow Hello Sexy Set which contains the Super Mud Clearing Treatment and Youth Mud Tingle Exfoliate Treatment all for £16.99 with a RRP of £43, I simply had to have it! Now I'm not entirely sure why but this particular set is targeted towards men when the products included are unisex however for the savings, I'm really not fussed.

My next purchase was more so an impulse buy than anything else however again, I could't resist it! It's the Glam Glow Bright Mud Eye Treatment which contains twelve single use capsules to instantly brighten the under eye area and help with dark circles, fine lines, fatigue, puffiness, plump up the area whilst hydrating it. Normally this would cost £35 however I paid £14.99 for it which is a little steep however I bet it's most definitely worth it!

Lastly, is my favourite purchase of them all and one that I've been lusting after for ages! If you remember the Illamasqua Speckled Collection from a few years ago then you will remember the nail varnishes that literally looked like a mini egg but in nail varnish form. When I saw the shade Fragile, a light speckled blue, I was literally estatic as this particular shade I've wanted for ages just I've been put off due to the price. However this only cost me £3.99 instead of £14.50 which is a great buy!

Espa Haul 001

When this blog post goes up, I will actually be sunning myself in Lanzarote hence why this is the first of quite a few haul posts. I didn't intentionally plan this just however I was away with work for a course literally days before going away on holiday and one thing just lead to another and I came away with a rather heavy suitcase and a much lighter purse. On this said course, I was staying at The Village Hotel in Nottingham which I've been to previously and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. This time however I noticed that they were running a deal in the spa where you could get a fourty five minute facial for only £34 so of course naturally I booked myself in for one having never had a facial before. FYI Best thing ever!!

After fourty five minutes worth of my face being slathered with various oils and lotions, I couldn't believe how soft and hydrated my skin felt afterwards. It seriously felt incredible and I wish that I could have a facial every single day if only my purse allowed for that. I asked the therapist to write down all the products that she used on my face which lead to me purchasing only one product with two freebies. 

Long term readers will know that I'm a huge fan of cleansers so naturally I had to buy the ESPA Optimal Skin ProCleanser which is a tri-phase multifunctional gel cleanser that can also be used as an exfoliator and a facial mask. This by itself is £30 which for 100ml is rather steep however the spa had a deal on where you could buy both the cleanser and the Hydrating Floral Spafesh for £30 so of course it meant that I had to take them up on this offer as it basically meant I was getting the other product for free. As I was buying a product, I was also given the ESPA Beauty In The Bag Replenishing Skin Collection for Normal/Dry Sensitive which is made up of five travel sized products to continue the spa like feel at home with a how to facial routine guide. Despite not needing any more cleansers or toners, I simply couldn't resist such a good deal!

Superdrug Haul 005

When news hit that Real Techniques had brought out a new set of brushes, everybody and their nan went crazy for them including myself. However, I resisted buying them as at the time I thought that I didn't need them. With that being said, whilst in York's Superdrug just about to pay for some items, I saw that they were on special offer and I picked a set up despite the fact that I didn't need them. Included are three brushes - the Sculpting Brush, the Setting Brush and the Fan Brush of which all three I'll find a use for.

After reading rave reviews of the Clearly Youthful Retexturising Glycolic Peel Off Mask and being compared to the likes of REN's Glycolic Active Mask, I definitely had to pick it up especially when it had money off it! I also picked up the Clearly Youthful Resurfacing Night Serum and Clearly Youthful Hydrating Day Serum as I need to vary up my skincare some more.

Lastly, I picked up the B. Sweet Popping Candy Highlighting Serum which you can use in a multitude of ways including as a highlighting serum, primer and highlighter. I think I'll use it as both a primer and mix it in with my foundation to get a really dewy, radiant effect.

MAC Haul 002

I think it's fair to say that I did quite a lot of damage at the MAC counter in York. So much so that I definitely do agree with what everyone says - they only give you a massive bag when you've spent a lot which is what I walked out with half hour later. I knew exactly what I wanted and the sales assistant was most than happy to get the items that I wanted for me.

I decided to get a new foundation that I can mix in with my other MAC Foundation to get the desired coverage. However, when I bought my other foundation (Mineralize Moisture SPF15 Foundation in in NC20) I clearly was tanned as it's a little more darker than what I normally use although I can still get away with it. This time around, I settled on NC15 which the sales assistant agreed was a better match for me which I opted to get in the Studio Sculpt Foundation which I wanted last year. I also decided to repurchase their Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade as I'm going through it at an alarming pace as well as pick up Soft & Gentle to find out what all the fuss is about. 

I went a little crazy and picked up four eye brow pencils in Lingering as truth be told, I much prefer the service in York than in my local one and I don't visit a MAC counter that often and I don't want to pay postage. One pencil easily lasts me a little over three months so I have atleast a years supply. As I've been using Creme Cup a lot recently, I decided to repurchase it as well as get another lipstick in the Cremesheen family in the shade Pure Zen which I've had on my wishlist for quite a while as it's a nice nude shade.

This is where I started to go even more crazy as I wanted to get some eyeshadows so Shroom, Woodwinked, All That Glitters, Satin Taupe and Honey Lust were all no brainers after a heavy swatching session. Jest and Vapour I picked up from York's CCO instead of from MAC themselves but I'm including them anyway. To store all these eyeshadows, I bought Pro Palette Large as well as the 15 insert which you have to buy seperately. I also got two paint pots in Bare Study and Painterly which have been on my wishlist forever and I can use as either a base shade/primer over my lids.

I also picked up a pigment in Vanilla as again I've wanted it for ages and it will last me forever and lastly, I picked up a 217 Brush which isn't pictured as I wanted to see if it lives up to the hype of being the eyeshadow brush to have.

Boots Haul 019

Back in March, I mentioned that I won't be doing any more big splurges until my birthday and low and behold, that time has come around. Instead of doing one splurge, I've done three albeit one of them is rather small in comparison. I've decided to rename this week splurge week as that is all you'll be reading this week from me apart from on Sunday where it'll be a review.

Whenever I go to York, I love walking into town by myself and go into every store that takes my fancy. In particular, I love the Boots that they have as it has every single brand there possible with advisors at my disposable. My first port of call was the Origins counter as I was after two things in particular - the Make A Difference Night Cream and Make A Difference Plus Treatment Lotion. The Make A Difference Night Cream is an overnight hydrating repair cream which helps lock in moisture overnight to give radiant, awaken skin come morning. The Make A Difference Plus Treatment Lotion is leaning more towards a refreshing toner than anything else because it feels both hydrating and moisturising at the same time which you can use both morning and night.

After browsing the self selection area for quite some time, I walked away with an Essie Nail Varnish in Blossom Dandy which I've been wanting ever since I saw it on ThatsHeart's Instragram. It's one of those minty green come pastel blue shades that looks different in lighting. Whilst finding said shade, I got approached by a Benefit Consultant who gave me a mini lesson in all things Benefit and after spending half an hour with her, I walked away with both Browzings and Gimme Brow. I truly didn't need any more eyebrow products but she had applied them on me and I must admit, my brows never looked better!

As mentioned in my previous post, in order to get the free No7 gift with purchase you have to purchase two cosmetics. So I decided to pick up two nail varnishes as you can never have enough nail varnishes! The first one being Rose Gold which as the name suggests, is a beautiful rose gold shade which I can't wait to start wearing and the other being Grapefruit which is very similar to Essie's Cute As A Button in the sense of being a bright pink-ish red colour.

This haul quite literally breaks my main beauty resolution that I set myself at the start of the year and I have no real excuses for it apart from that I needed cheering up, there were too many good deals to resist and I had vouchers that needed using up. This is what I hope will be my last main splurge of the year (well until my 21st birthday at least!)

Currently it's 3 for 2 across all skincare/bodycare so I decided to split up my shop into several seperate transactions purely to get the best deal possible as I don't care what anybody says, the till does not work out the best deal for you! I picked up the Avene Thermal Spring Water Spray mainly for my makeup sponges as I read somewhere that normal water can damage your sponges, the Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream as I wanted the matching body butter to the shower gel and body scrub which meant that I got the Soap & Glory The Ultimelt for free.

My next transaction consisted of Hydraluron which I know I have lots of these in my backup drawer but I had a £5 off voucher and I'm forever going through it! Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum as I wanted another serum to change up my skincare routine a little which meant that I got the Avene Cleanance Expert for free. My last transaction for skincare meant that I picked up the Sanctuary Radiance Exfoliator as I truly miss it in my life as well as two Botanics Ultra Calm Skin Relief Serums as I love the stuff which meant that I got one of them for free.

As the No7 vouchers have just started, I decided to pick up the No7 Shimmer Palette in Caramel which is No7's answer to the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks. I am forever swatching this palette whenever I walk past the No7 counter and as it adds such a radiant glow to the tops of my cheeks, I simply couldn't resist buying it there and then! As I'm currently going through a fake tanning phase which I'm sure won't last for long, I picked up the No7 Perfectly Bronzed Quick Dry Tinted Mousse in Medium/Dark which all my friends say is the bomb so I didn't need much persuading. The last item that I bought is the No7 Blusher Brush which I will be using to apply the No7 Shimmer Palette with as it applys it so beautifully and is the perfect shape.

I recently had a few gift cards and vouchers burning a hole in my pocket and I thought that I better spend them to take advantage of a few offers that were happening at the time in Boots. Now whilst I may have broken a few of my beauty resolutions, in my defense these were deals that I simply couldn't resist to take advantage of as well as the chance to save money in the long term. I also didn't buy all this in one trip, this is several trips combined.

My first port of call was at the Estee Lauder counter where if I bought two items, I'd get 500 advantage card points which combined with a gift card meant that I wouldn't really be spending my own money technically. I knew that I wouldn't be leaving without the Estee Lauder Little Black Primer which I've heard so many good things about since it launch and I must admit that since using it, I cannot live without it! You can use it in three ways; either on bare lashes to naturally tiny them or use it as a primer before your normal mascara to help make your lashes look more voluminous and more defined or as a top coat, to help set your mascara with a water-resistant finish. I use it the last two ways which help make my lashes look more defined and volumious whilst not flaking away after a full days work. As there was really nothing else that I really needed, I decided to pick up the Sumptuous Giftset which comes with a full size Sumptuous Mascara as well as a duluxe handbag sized Pure Colour Envy Lipstick in Desirable which is the perfect pinky-nude shade which I'll definitely be rocking from time to time.

Next armed with two vouchers for the same transaction; £3 off when I spend £12 or more on Soap & Glory as well as a voucher to get Soap & Glory Glow Job free for when I buy anything from their skincare range. I decided to pick up the one thing that I definitely use which is the Soap & Glory Drama Clean 5-in-1 Micellar Cleansing Water which helps remove makeup from both the face, eyes and lips as well as the Soap & Glory Glow Job which when I got to the till, I only ended up paying £3 total for both items which is a steal! Lastly, I decided to pick up an Essie nail varnish as I had a voucher for £2 off so I picked up Peach Daiquiri which is rather similar in colour to Cute As A Button but is more red toned than peach. 

Lush Haul 003

I know that it wasn't too long that I recently ventured into Lush however after seeing lots of people posting about their hauls, I simply couldn't resist buying a few pieces. I made sure to get a good mix of both bath bombs and bubble bars from both their limited edition Valentines Day collection and their standard range.

One bath bomb that I seem to always pick up is the Ickle Baby Bot which is more aimed to children than adults however I cannot resist it's jolly blue face with little stumpy legs as well as it's soothing lavender scent! A bubble bar that I haven't had in a while is Blue Skies And Fluffy White Clouds which smells strongly of patchouli and frankincense and helps you to relax and get away from the world. Another product that I haven't had in a while is their Blackberry Bath Bomb which helps to banish all stress and tension leaving you feeling rather relaxed and calm. It's definitely one of their more basic bath bombs but it definitely makes quite the impact in the tub. I couldn't resist picking up the Space Girl Bath Bomb purely because it's covered in glitter that will no doubt cover the entire bath rub. This was a pure impulse buy but after finding out that it contains popping candy, I'm excited to use it!

From their Valentines Day collection, I couldn't help but pick up the Heart Throb Bubble Bar which I don't personally want to break up as its such a cute heart shape! This apparently turns the water bright red upon breaking apart and leaves the skin beautifully soft. I'm sure that I'll have fun using this eventually! The last item I bought from Lush is their The Kiss Lip Scrub which contains caster sugar, sea salt, edible red hearts as well as hundreds of thousands which definitely makes it a sweet tasting scrub!

I'm sure that I'm not alone when I was eagerly awaiting for when Boots 70% off sale which is where all of their remaining christmas gifts are 70% off. I personally didn't go mad like a lot of people and actually only picked up three things, one of which isn't even included in the 70% off sale.

I picked up two of the Oral B Pro 2000 in Pink which I only paid £10.50 each for which is definitely a bargain considering that the standard Pro 2000 is £69.99 at full price. The reason why I picked up two is purely so that I can have one at home and one at the other halfs as I nearly always forget to bring it with me when I'm staying the night. The other item that I picked up is the Origins Masked Marvels Set which I paid £19.99 for. I actually bought one of these when it was offer of the week at £25 and I'm more than happy to have picked up another one!

In my last haul, I mentioned that I like to do my research before I splash the cash on a product. This is not entirely true especially when one of my good blogging friends, Sophia from Tattooed Tea Lady, raves about a product which then makes me want to buy it, especially when she's used said product for a good few years. Sophia, this haul is all your fault!

The said product in question is quite simply the Pai Kukui and Jojoba Bead Skin Brightening Exfoliator which uses natural jojoba beads to gentle exfoliate the skin. The formula is enriched with exotic oils which leaves the skin both refreshed and radiant after use. As it contains high-quality ingredients, it is perfect for all skin types including sensitive and problematic skin. Now, I particularly didn't fancy spending £20 alone on a facial exfoliator however for just £5.50 more, I could buy the Pai Intensive Brightening Facial Limited Edition Kukui Collection which included both the facial exfoliator and the new copaiba deep cleanse AHA mask which comes packagaed in a nicely designed box complete with a organic muslin cloth. 

If that wasn't enough, I also decided to buy the Pai Intensive Nourishing Facial Limited Edition Rosehip Collection which includes their blogger favourite Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil and Rosehip BioRegenerate Rapid Radiance Mask which again, comes packaged in a nicely designed box complete with an organic muslin cloth. As I spent over a certain amount which I wasn't intending on doing, I receieved a generous sample of the Pai Camella and Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser which is worth £14. Sadly, it would appear that I bought these on the better part of Look Fantastic's sale as both sets are now back up to £30 compared to the £25.50 that I paid for each at the time. None the less, it is still a good deal considering both sets are worth £50 each.

If I'm ever going to really splurge on an expensive piece of makeup, I want to make sure that I've truly done my research and read plenty of reviews from both bloggers and general customers. This is purely so that I know that I won't have wasted my money on it and that I will use it on a daily basis. With that being said, this is how I ended up on the Space NK website on boxing day, placing an order for two said items that I've been wanting for a really long time.

The first is one that I've had on my wishlist ever since Laura from Belles Boutique did a review on it. The product in question is the Laura Mercier Lip Pencil in Carnation which I actually managed to get for half price. It's the most perfect light toned pink which albeit may be slightly too drying on the lips but once teamed with a lipstick, it is absolutely perfect. I've already started using it and it is definitely love!

The other is one that I'm sure everybody has heard of which is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette which is by far the most amount of money I've spent on any one piece of makeup! It is a little smaller than what I was expecting but the three shades; Dim Light, Incandescent Light and Radiant Light are absolutely stunning so definitely make up for it. These can be used alone as a highlighter or all over as a face powder or a combination of the two which is definitely how I intend on using this palette.

I am forever finding myself walking past Lush but never really venturing in as I have enough bath bombs from previous trips to keep me going for a while. However there is just some about their sweet, intoxicating scent that just draws you in and before you know it, you've already handed over your card and end up walking out with a bag filled with deliciously scented bath bombs that you may or may not have needed. 

I actually ventured into my local store the day after boxing day and they still had lots of stuff left so I couldn't resist picking up a few of their christmas items especially when it was all half price. I managed to get Cinders, Dashing Santa and Golden Wonder which are all bath bombs as well as the Christmas Hedgehog bubble bar which starts to melt the minute you touch it. I also picked up the Little Snow Fairy Giftset which came with a 100g Snow Fairy Showergel as well as a mini pink FUN which is not pictured. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with everything that I got even if I didn't necessarily need it all.

After watching one of Vivianna's latest videos, I decided that I needed the Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation in my life so I picked it up in the shade Ivory which I'm hoping will not make me anymore pale than what I already am. As I'm starting to branch out more into eyeshadow, I noticed that Maybelline had released new additions to their Colour Tattoo range so I couldn't resist buying Barely Branded which is a beautiful, neutral shade that just evens everything out with a hint of colour. After swatching a few of the Max Factor Excess Shimmer Eyeshadows, I knew that I would be leaving with the shade Copper which will be perfect in a bronze, shimmery smokey eye.

As it was three for two across all makeup, I needed to pick up a few items that were similar in price and as if I didn't need anymore mascaras, I picked up the new Rimmel Wonderfull Mascara which has argan oil to help nourish the lashes. Whilst at the Rimmel stand, their new Glitter Bomb top coats caught my eye and I spotted that Disco Diva would be perfect teamed up with a rose gold nail varnish that I had already. Lastly, I remembered that I've been lusting after the Collection Lipstick in Sweet Tart which is a beautiful pink shade that will look even better when paired with a tan.
