Superdrug Haul

I popped into town today to firstly enroll/pay for my college course and secondly to pick up a few pieces. I only intended to buy one thing from Superdrug and I walked out with quite a heavy bag instead. If it wasn't for Superdrug's amazing offers and bright lighting, I would be a hell of a lot richer.

Colgate Max White One Active Toothpaste
Whilst staying round Liams', I've been using their toothpaste which is the original one of Max White One series. I've definitely noticed a difference in my teeth so it would be rude not to pick one up, especially as I'm nearing the end of my current toothpaste back at home.
Superdrugs' Coconut & Sweet Almond Intensive Conditioner
After picking this up in my last Superdrug haul, I've been using it twice a week since and it's made my hair feel and look a hell of a lot healthier. Seeing as they had a deal on this for 2 for £1.99, I couldn't help but put two into my basket.
Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2-in-1
I've seen so many reviews of this raving about how good it is so I thought that I better pick it up and try it out for myself. Expect a review of this soon!
L'oreal Studio Silk & Gloss Hot Straight Spray
This was a total impulse buy and I still don't know why I even picked it up. I'm not even straightening my hair at the moment which makes it even more of an impulse buy. I don't have anything else to say about this product really apart from the fact that it's been getting some good reviews lately

I'm thinking about going back there tomorrow to pick up some more coconut oil and another of my current facial wash for when I run out.. Damn you Superdrug!

Have you tried any of these products?

The Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lipstain ALTERNATIVE for only a quid!

When reviews of the popular Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lipstain started cropping up in their dozens from those lucky bloggers in America, I too was jealous and so desperately needed one or two in my life. Despite those beautiful buggers now being available in Boots and Superdrug, I travelled 3000+ miles to get mine and have justified it being cheaper due to the exchange rate.

So after reading Terri's review on these very briefly over the weekend (If you don't know who Terri is, then you better check her blog out here and sharpish!), Liam and myself took a little adventure into our local Poundland to see if we could find myself any. And oh did we find some..

The two shades I picked up were Autumn Leaf (top) and Peony (bottom) and I found that I had to dig deep for these two as they were lurking behind a ton of Fiery Red's which looked far too dark for my liking.

Autumn Leaf is a mid brown shade with red undertones running through it which may be a little too dark for all you pale beauties out there whereas Peony may be better suited as it's a rather delicate pink. I found that when I compared these to RJBKL, they were very similar apart from the price of course and the lasting power.

Have you tried these/similar alternative/the real deal?

NOTW: Cinderella

If a nail varnish company were to bring out a range of colours to represent different disney characters, then Sinful Colors would definitely be the one to do this!
Cinderella (the nail varnish) is a sheer pale blue with a slight pink glitter that is just eye catching when the sunlight hits it. I haven't been able to stop staring at my nails since when I painted them as it's just such a unique colour. The only problem I have with it, is that it takes atleast three to four coats just to get rid of the sheerness. This may be a problem for people who are not patient when painting their nails.
Cinderella by Sinful Colors can be bought from this seller for all my UK readers.
What's your favourite nail varnish by Sinful Colors?
PS - Don't forget to check out my giveaway to win a hamper of beauty products from America!

eos Lip Balms

One of the first things I picked up in America is these bad boys, eos lip balms. Now, if you don't know what an eos lip balm is then you better carry on reading. An eos lip balm is 95% organic, 100% natural and paraben as well as petrolatum free. It's jam packed with antioxidant rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil which helps keep your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth. Hence why eos stands for Evolution of Smooth.

The one on the left is my most used one, Summer Fruit. The smell can be a little overwhelming especially when you apply it for the first time but that scent is so addictive after that first application. Whereas the one on the right is Lemon Drop which has SPF 15. My good blogging friend Sophia and myself discussed the scent of this and we both agreed that it smells almost like Burt's Bees Cuticle Creme but not as fresh, it's more of a lemon sherbert kinda smell.

The one thing that makes eos lip balms stand out from the rest is their spherical shape which is not like other lip balms. Which means that they wont ruin your make-up bag due to it's unique shape. You simply twist off the top, pucker up, smooth on and smile. It's as easy as that.

If you're lucky enough to live in America or are going there soon, you can pick one of these up from Walmart/Walgreens for as low as $2.96. However, for any unlucky people in the UK, we have to pay a whooping £4 upwards just for one!

If you're feeling real lucky, then enter my giveaway to win an eos lip balm in Summerfruit amongst other things

H&M Haul

It seems to be whenever I go on holiday or am planning to, I always seem to look to H&M first. I don't know why as I don't particularly shop there often but they always seem to have some really good pieces right before I go on holiday.

So whilst I was mooching around on the 24th July and trying to re-pack my suitcase, I came across a few bloggers who had been going mad for their make-up bags. One of whom is Sherrie from Beauty In The Mirror (You can check out her post on one of the make-up bags in her what's in my NEW makeup bag post)

Black Espadrilles £2.99 || Toiletry Bag in Green £2.99 (with 25% off) || Blue Make-up Bag £1.99 || Blue Make-up Bag with Birds £1.99 || Nail Varnish in Hunt Me Down £1.49

I found myself looking for codes to safe money on the order, so I ended up with 25% off one item as well as £5 off the entire order. However, H&M is a bit fussy - your order has to be over a certain amount which mine wasn't hence why I ordered a rather ugly looking nail varnish.

All in all, I cannot complain with H&M at all. Their service was outstanding and they have fast shipping.

Have you ordered anything from H&M recently?
